There are lots of resources on how to care for your newborn, but not enough information on how to care for yourself after delivery. After you deliver your baby, many physical and emotional changes continue for the birthing parent. Being prepared for what to expect and planning for support can help ease anxiety and encourage optimal healing and recovery! We are here to tell you that you matter too, and this important postpartum recovery class is all about YOU.
In this class we discuss what to expect during your physical recovery, including a vaginal and cesarean birth, tips to promote healing, items for recovery, as well as the emotional and relational changes that occur.
Does the cost of prenatal classes include 2 people?
The cost of prenatal classes includes two people, except for Infant, Child and Adult CPR & First Aid, which is sold individually.
When should I take prenatal classes?
If possible, we recommend completing all prenatal classes approximately one month before the baby’s due date.
