Second Time Parent & Me

Going from one child to two is a new and very different experience to navigate than postpartum with your firstborn. Yes, you have cared for an infant before, but not with another child to raise, too!

In Second Time Parent & Me, we explore topics unique to parents of multiple children, from bonding with two and sibling rivalry, to tips and tricks to make life with two easier.

3 reasons why parents love Parent & Me at The Family Room:

#1 You build community: You see the same parents every week. You bond, grow and connect. You meet up for walks and coffee, and have a Whatsapp chat to stay in touch between classes. Sometimes they even become your life long friends.

#2 You learn a lot from peers and have an expert to ask questions. Topics are research-based and relevant to the age of the babies.

#3 You can be you. We understand there are many different approaches philosophies m and ways to things when it comes to parenting. We always want you to do what works best for your unique family.

what parents are saying

"The best investment we made as parents was joining The Family Room. We started at 5 weeks with a lot of anxiety and ended the first series at 12 weeks with new skills and more confidence. However, the best thing we gained was a wonderful community."

- Zitaly

I highly recommend, especially for a first time parent. The information is helpful super, and it's nice we can ask any questions we want and discuss all topics with the group. But what really is the most valuable thing for me is the community. Our group graduated and we still hang out all the time!

Some people call it their village. Some people call it their community.

We call it our mission
